He is survived by: his wife Theresa Collins Johnston; his children, Melburn Charles "BJ" Johnston Jr. and Ryan Joseph Johnston; his stepchildren, Timothy "TJ" Johnson and Tia Johnson; and his siblings, Joy Nesom, Rita Gabriel, Sue Stall (Louis), Alice Hazelwood (Roy), Tom Johnston, Mark Johnston, Audie Watson and Gene Johnston. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
