He is survived by: his wife Linda Wester (Hunn); his former wife Faye McLemore (Guidry); his daughter Dawn Fowler (Robert); his grandson William; his stepson Thomas Machling; his grandchildren, Felix Borowaik and Nicole Barrios (Lance); his great grandchildren, Landon, Cadon and Payton; his siblings, Robert Wester (Terri), Mark Wester (Donna), Monette Gremillion (Gary) and Samuel Wester (Joanne); and his sister-in-law Debbie Rein (Kyle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
