He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Lizana and Rosita Roy Lizana; and his siblings, Irma Lizana Parker, Carolyn Lizana Parker and Thomas Lizana.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Theriot Lizana; his son Joseph M. Lizana (Kimberly); and his siblings, Shirley Lizana Ciruti (John), Bertrand Lizana and Clarence Lizana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
