She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Bardwell and Ella Fry; her husband Ellis J. Roby; and her siblings, Elsie Moss, Louise Jacobsen, Bernice Palermo, Myrtle Bennett, Violet Crane, Nellie Foster and Robert Bardwell.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Roby Cappel (Harvey "Dickie") and Ellis "Joey" Joseph Roby Jr. (Laura); her grandchildren, Bryan Cappel (Erin), Kyle Cappel, Melinda Muscenti (Mark) and Jessica Walker (Richmond); her great grandchildren, Jack, Benjamin, Stella, Zoe, Dakota, Anthony and Carter; and her sister Sylvia Roby.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Pearl River, Louisiana, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
