He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Friend and Pearl Ada Riley. He is survived by: his children, Sandi Friend, Pam Lisotta (Tony) and Jeff Friend; his grandchildren, Andrew Lisotta, Adam Lisotta and Phoenix Friend; and his former wife Margaret. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, LA 70460).
