He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Palmisano Cordes; his parents, George Cordes and Elvira Cordes; and his siblings, Robert Cordes and Lois Tessier.
He is survived by: his child Mistie Lynn Cordes; his grandchildren, Alexis Lombardo and Dylan Rhodes; his parents-in-law, Michael and Lorraine Palmisano; and his brothers, Raymond Cordes and Roy Cordes. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
