He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Dyer Sr. and Carmen Reidel Dyer; and his grandfather R. D. (Richie). He is survived by: his wife Diane Petersen Dyer; his children, Deserae Mall (Gary), Dawn Castaneda (Robert) and Christopher Dyer (Sheree); his grandchildren, Dr. Preston Mall (Kyleigh), Aaron Mall (Anna Claire), Angelle Mall, Alain Castaneda, Derek Castaneda, Alicia Ciavola (Max), Joseph Dyer and Savanna Dyer; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Jannise and Amelia Mall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Genevieve Catholic Church (58203 LA-433, Slidell, LA 70460). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
