It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard William Sasnett of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thomas Sasnett and Charlotte Sasnett; and his children, Shannon Sasnett and Richard Charles Sasnett. He is survived by: his wife Jane Sasnett; his children, Jimmy Lee Sasnett (Jennifer), Brandon Sasnett (Leslie), Cameron Sasnett and Bridget Sasnett; his grandchildren, Rebecca Mari Sasnett, Mikayla Michelle Sasnett, Jameson Matthew Lytle and Scarlett Olivia Lytle; and his siblings, Charlene Miller and Warren Sasnett. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
