Richard B. Verret Obituary
We announce the death of Richard B. Verret of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Theriot, Louisiana, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 87. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Verret and Mary Verret; and his siblings, Betty, Pam, Davis, Jr. and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Rhonda (Darek), Richard, Jr. (Tina), Scott (Vy), Amy (David) and Stephen (Wendy); his brother Gueydan; his aunt Leah; and his uncle Edgar. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
