With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert S. Clifton of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Clifton and Joe Clifton; his son Joel M. Clifton; and his brother William J. Clifton. He is survived by: his wife Grace Helen Clifton; his son Robert L. Clifton (Alicia Gaudet); his grandchild Alannah Kelly; and his daughter-in-law Kristina Cotten Clifton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Christian Concern (2515 Carey St., Slidell, LA 70458) or the Mt. Olive Feeding Ministry.

“In loving memory of Robert S. Clifton, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We were your neighbors for over 30 years and our boys grew up with yours. Together we experienced many joys and sorrows. Your son, Joel, and our son, David, had the same earthly birthday, October 9th. They are smiling and with open arms welcoming their Dad and friend to the peace and joy of heaven. Despite moving away, Bob, Helen, Joel and Rob are always in our hearts.”
