He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Rolf Klingenberg and Hedwig Margarete Bach. He is survived by: his close friends, Matt Cole (Kim), Ray Hamrick, Clarance Duplesis (Bonnie), Tom Santmyer (Sonja), Ed Hanemann, Rusty Carpenter and Bob Belknap; Ella, James and Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (35300 Home Estate Dr, Slidell, LA 70460). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
In lieu of flowers, veterans are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to their respective Veterans Service Organization or to join one if they are not already members. Others are encouraged to consider a donation to one of Rolf's favorite local charities, the Northshore Humane Society.
