With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy James Pomes of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Arabi, Louisiana, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy James Pomes to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Pomes; his children, Roy Joseph Pomes (Brenda) and Lauren Pomes; his stepdaughter Renee Pinac; his daughter Stephanie Pell (Richard); his grandchildren, Easton, Nolan, Rylan Pell and Brittany Pomes; and his great grandchild Dawson Reynolds.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (adhering to social distancing guidelines) on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 9:45 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Slidell.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) are preferred.
