He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph "Shan" Garcia Sr. and Gladys Bruno Garcia; his cousins, Philip "Billy", Selma Populist (late Walter) and Brenda Populus (Tommy); his son Shane Patrick Garcia; his brothers, Randolph Garcia Jr. (late Cecile "Dee"), Wesley Garcia and Stephen Garcia (late Mildred); his parents-in-law, Elson Laurant and Velma Laurant; his siblings-in-law, Susan Laurant and Elson Laurant Jr.; and his granddaughter Nevaeh Fisher.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Anne Laurant Garcia; his sibling Alphosine; his grandchildren, Legend Fisher, Ivy Fisher and Kaidyn Laurant; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Hinton (Lora), Simone Galatas (Arnold) and Michelle Ordone (Tristan). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and nieces, and a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church (58203 LA-433, Slidell, LA 70460).
