It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane Alan Archer of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Keith Archer; his parents-in-law, Don and Bonnie Schween; and his brother-in-law Joey Temples. He is survived by: his wife Leanne Schween Archer; his mother Judith Rebecca Roberts Archer; his sister Shonna Archer Temples; his brother-in-law Dr. Lyle Schween (Rachel); his goddaughter Lila Schween; his nieces, Chelsey Crawford (Jesse) and Haylee Botts (Shawn); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase Crawford, Jaxton Crawford, Beckett Crawford, Annistyn Botts and Addalyn Botts; and his pets, Gigi and Babette.
