It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Carlton in Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James William Carlton, Sr.; her parents, Perry Tynes and Ida Tynes; and her siblings, Alberty Tynes, Dencel Tynes, Earline Kafferly and Ramona Quave.
She is survived by: her children, James William Carlton, Jr., Terry Lynn Carlton, Robin "Rob" Alan Carlton and Kimberly "Kim" Ann Holley. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
