He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Byron Jones and Edith Claudine Gee Jones; and his nephew Eric Shane Shelton. He is survived by : his wife Martha Elizabeth Pastoret Jones; his siblings, Jerry Jones (Rosita Ann), Anita Jones and GeAnna Jones Ladner (Kendall); his nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Jones (Shannon), Elizabeth Zeringue (J. J.), Amanda Rodgers (Steve), Justin Jones (Shelby), Adam Ladner (Jamie) and Kayla Watkins; and his godchildren, Ericha Deas and Samantha Daw.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Life Assembly of God Church (1015 Mississippi 43 N, Picayune, MS 39466). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
