He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence and Clara Beckley; his aunt Maudie Beckley; his mother-in-law Delta Cavalier; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Boudreaux and Jeffrie Boudreaux; his mother Mary Moade; his sisters, Brenda and Janie; and his pets, Mo Mo, Tootsie Curly, Charlie, Toby and Lulu.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beckley; his children, Nicholas Beckley and Heather Pennington; his son-in-law James Pennington; his sisters, Cindy, Tina, Pam and Rosalie; his pet Nala Beckley; and his grandson Finn Pennington.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his honor to either the ASPCA and/or St. Jude- both charities that Steve donated to monthly for the last several years.
