Smith Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana, born in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore R. Smith, Sr. and Helen Boyd Smith; his former life partner Launa Wolcott Smith; his stepson L. Keith Faciane; his sister Betty Jean Dukes; his brother-in-law Clifford Dukes; his nephew Allen Dukes; his niece Cheryl Dukes Bontje; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Grace Dunford.

He is survived by : his daughters, Anita Smith Horton (Charles) and Michele Faciane Steinforth (Bob); his grandchildren, Matthew Horton (Megan), Michael Horton (Marissa), Ryan Steinforth, Michelle Dunford (DJ), Amy Doss (Jason), Marchelle Falkner, Sean Faciane and Lacey Faciane; his great grandchildren, Theo Horton, Gabriel, Madeleine Horton, Charlie, Andrew, Michael, Madeline Dunford, Jack, Elsie and Penny Doss; and his niece Lynn Dukes Heffley (Bill).
