He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin Vernon Abney, Lilian Chabreck Abney, Thomas Joseph Riley and Peggy Darlene Noon. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Bruce "Ikey" Abney and Teresa Riley Abney; his wife Randi Hufft Abney; his stepson Anthony Pena; his brother Shawn (Katie); his nieces, Allison Gene Abney and Mila Taylor; and his nephew Landon Hufft. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as countless brothers and sisters.
