Valerie Lockhart Perkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Lockhart Perkins of Slidell, Louisiana, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Grace Keating Lockhart; her brother Bruce Keating Lockhart; her former husband Henry Thomas Perkins; and her granddaughter Zahra Grace Perkins. She is survived by: her daughter Bethany Perkins; her son-in-law Peter Lamson of Spartanburg, SC; her son Adam Perkins of Slidell, LA; her daughter-in-law Leyla Hekmatdoost Perkins of Covington, LA; her daughter Jordan Perkins Bailey (Michael Bailey) of Annapolis, MD.; her grandchildren, Mina, Alexander, Keating, Cora, Henry and Ellis; her brother Harvey Lockhart (Marilyn) of Huntington, NY; and her brother-in-law Timothy Wells of Teaneck, NJ.
She continued at Northminster until COVID forced her retirement at the age of 78.
