He was predeceased by: his father Brutus Jenkins; and his nephew Bryan Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Eileen" Jenkins; his mother Ruth Jenkins; his children, Shawn Jenkins (Amanda) of Mer Rouge, LA, Stevenie Jenkins of Slidell, LA, Tori Jenkins of Bastrop, LA and Blade Jenkins (Caitlin) of Bossier City, LA; his siblings, Bruce Jenkins (Ann) of Bastrop, LA and Susan Musgrove (Tab) of Sterlington, LA; his half-sister Sandra Linder (Larry) of Crossett, AR; and his grandchildren, Ashton Beach (Cody), Andrew Jenkins (Bailey), Aliyah Blackwell (Jeremy), Dylan Terrell, Kinedy Jenkins, Naomi Martin, Madyson Jenkins, Claire Jenkins, Scarlett Martin, Olivia Jenkins, Sutton Jenkins and Israel Martin. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
