It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbert Terry (Slidell, Louisiana), born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Terry and Lucinda Lott Terry; his siblings, Hosea, Richmond, Noyd Terry, Albertha of Washington, Almenia Ryans, Lovolia Pinkney and Ida Mae Deverney; his grandson Carlon A. Brown; and his great-niece Ann Marie Nolbert.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice T. Thomas; his grandchildren, Kenleigh (Jessica), Kimberleigh (Kenneth) and Ashleigh "Baby" Thomas; his stepdaughter Marilyn P. Thomas; his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Jayedyn, Kullen, Jesleigh Thomas, Markese and MiKayleigh Hooker; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron (Tammy) of Washington and Zandra Turner (Walter); his nieces, Aldena Theriot and Pamela Barnes (Keith); his close friends, Rodney (Adam) and Robbie; and also, Kandra and A'rayon of Washington.
His family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to his Northshore Church family, his VA PAC 4 team and specialists, the dedicated home healthcare workers who were so diligent about his welfare even through the pandemic;.
