He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Boutwell and Velma Beal Boutwell; and his siblings, Delores Martin, Margaret Elaine Boutwell, Courtney "Shuggie" Delaune, Linda Jean Long, Betty Ruth Rayborn and Wally Boutwell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol R. Boutwell; his children, Terry D. Boutwell (Tigest), Kevin Smith (Ellen) and Pamela S. Gilmore (Gary); his grandchildren, Terrell D. Jordan, Jessica Harsh, Dillion Smith, Tanner Smith and Karli Lashinsky; and his brother Kenny R. Boutwell. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
