With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Holmes of Slidell, Louisiana, born in McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Holmes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his son Ronald W Holmes (Ron); his parents, George Everett Holmes and Alice Powell Holmes; his brother George David Holmes; and his daughter-in-law Michele Lillian Holmes.

He is survived by : his friend Billy; his wife Linda Welch Holmes of Slidell, LA; his children, Warren Holmes (Randy) and Robin Leigh Holmes; his grandchildren, Diamond Ruby Holmes and Gordon Edward Manni; his siblings, James L Holmes (Jimmy) and Carolyn Estelle Douglas; and his daughter-in-law Natalia Holmes. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.

In honor of Billy's late son, Ronald W Holmes, the family would prefer donations be made to Juniper Grove Baptist Church, Poplarville, MS or First Baptist Church of Vancleave for International Missions.
