He was predeceased by: his father Thomas J. Champagne; his wife Mary Lou Pravata Champagne; his son Jeffery Allen Champagne; and his siblings, Thomas Joseph "Sonny" Champagne Jr., Robert R. Champagne, Olive Mary Champagne Hendry, Justin Farestan Champagne and Althea Adrienne Champagne Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Bradley William Champagne (Lenell) and David Mitchell Champagne (Nancy); and his grandsons, Aaron Champagne (Amy), Mitchell Champagne (Kay), William Champagne (Tiffany), Matthew Champagne (Molly), Bradley Moye (Ashley) and Brett Moye. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
