He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robertson Sr. and Georgia Quarles Robertson; his siblings, Larry Robertson, Albert Robertson, John Robertson Jr., Ernest Robertson, William Robertson, Sarah Robertson Dykes, Rosie Cunnikin and Cindy Williams; and his daughter-in-law Trina Marie Robertson.
He is survived by: his wife Marclean Spears Robertson; his children, Don Robertson Sr. (Trina) and Dedrea Renea Sellers; his grandchildren, Kayidra Jonay Sellers, Don Robertson Jr. (Keyona) and Dajah Alexis Robertson; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Aadyn and Shyler; and his goddaughters, Cavetta Wiltz, Tonola Blakes, Nicolette "Missy" Gordon and Jewel Allen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church (5276 Bullard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70126). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
