He is survived by: his wife Mary Blum Melancon; his children, JoAnn Melancon and Brian Melancon; his brother John Neil Melancon (Cathy); his granddaughters, Nicole Johnson and Brianna Rojas; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Bayard and Kylan Marlow.
