It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Thomas Ramsey of Spearsville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Perry Ramsey; her parents, Willie Thomas and Odessa Thomas; her daughter Lynette Ramsey; her son-in-law Junior Ramsey; and her siblings, Chester Thomas, Billy Thomas, Travis Thomas, Austin Thomas, Christine Campbell, Melba Dumas and Janelle Snyder.
She is survived by : her son Bill Cranford (Charlotte); her sisters, Julie Ann Harbour (Charles) and Lucille Cottrell; and her grandchildren, Keith Ramsey (Tilly), Kenneth Ramsey (Chantay), Dewayne Ramsey (Tammy), Donna Banks (Randy), Shane Cranford, Brent Cranford and Candace Elliott. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
