She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Mai; her daughter Brenda Mai; her parents, Pearl Orlowski and Joseph Orlowski; and her sister Eleanor Messner.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Figley (Reggie); her sister Mary Bailey; and her grandsons, Jeremy Figley and Justin Figley (Kate).

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to ALS or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
