He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Tyson and Ophelia Beck Tyson; his former wife Donna Sue Tyson; his daughter Stephanie Diane Tyson; his great grandchild Riley Wayne Tyson; and his sister Betty Faye Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Krisanne Mickens Tyson; his children, Patsy Marie Gardner (Michael) of Springhill, David Wayne Tyson Jr. (Angel) of Taylor, AR and Robert Allen Tyson of Springhill; his grandchildren, Destiny Streetman, Cody Wayne Tyson, Brittany Tyson, Angel Tyson, Faith Tyson, Aubrie Tyson, Cadence Tyson, Dalton Tyson, Abrianna Gardner and Adysyn Gardner; and his siblings, Mary Clements of Haynesville, LA, Kathy Blake (Robert) of Springhill and Donald Tyson (Barbara) of Springhill, LA. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the State Line Cemetery (1716 AR-160, Taylor, AR 71861).
