He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Souter and Lorene Byrd Souter; the mothers of children, Connie and Frances; and his great grandchild Mary Beth Sanchez.
He is survived by: his sister Judith Bussey (Jimmie); his daughters, Caren (Jim Parrish), Cathy (John Sanchez) and Casey (Mike Munn); his grandchildren, Chase Sanchez, Carolina Graves (Aaron), Elijah, Josiah, Lana Parrish, Jake, Olivia, Lexi, Alex and Zoey Munn; his great grandchildren, Violet Sanchez and Aiden Graves; his nieces and nephews, Spring, Forrest, Sarah, Aaron and Stephanie; and also, Joseph Hilburn and Sincerra Hilburn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spring Branch Cemetery.
