He was predeceased by: his parents, John Algernon and Opal Zurline Dodson Bearden; his son Jason Donny "Tonka" Bearden; and his brother John Clinton Bearden. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sanders Bearden; his son Russell Marlin Bearden of Springhill, LA; his grandson Wyatt Allen Bearden of Springhill; his siblings, Toni Cuellar (Homer) of Grandbury, TX, Beth Bearden of Fort Worth, TX and John Allen Bearden (Terrie) of Alvarado, TX; his nephews, Rolen Bearden (Tanya) and Jessie Bearden (Jessica); his great-nephews, Reed Bearden (Selina) and Memphis Bearden; and his great-niece Alexis Bearden.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
