It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Walter Kauffman of Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Jewel (Dona Marie Childers Kauffman) and Ark; and his sisters, Jewell Marie Naylor and Mary Evelyn Keith. He is survived by: his wife Dollie King Kauffman of Springhill; his children, Cindy K. Richardson (Steve) of Sarepta and Brent Kauffman (Tina) of Springhill; his grandchildren, Sean O. Hall of Springhill, Gerry Wayne Kauffman (Bethany) of Mansfield and Stephanie Kauffman of Delta; his great grandchildren, Oliver Mellas and Saoirse'Anglin of Mansfield; and his brothers, John (Jo Kauffman), Ark and Ernest (Mattie Kauffman). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many more relatives.
