With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ken Wayne Tripp (Springhill, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Merritt Tripp and Henry James Tripp; and his sister Dorothy Tripp Chew. He is survived by: his wife Anh Thi Tripp of Springhill, LA; his children, Kimberly Ann Dunn (David) of Commerce, TX and Ken Wayne Tripp, Jr. (Cynthia) of Angleton, TX; his grandchildren, Kristen Lawson, Cody Rudkin (Nicole), Bailey Mae Dunn, Mary Joyce Dunn and David Michael Dunn Jr.; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Faith and Adalynn; his sister Janice Tripp of Bossier City, LA; his nephew James Arthur Frazier (Kim); and his great-nephew Zachary James Frazier.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1919 S Main St, Springhill, LA 71075).
