It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marveine King (Springhill, Louisiana), born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Winford and Hawteen Nora Gardner Cody; her husbands, E. Nix Pickard (Red) and Paul King; her son Tim Pickard; and her grandson Spencer Nix Pickard.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Buckner (Mike) and Cody Pickard (Pamela); her siblings, Wayne Cody, John Gardner and Jo Ann McLamore; and her grandchildren, Dusty Pickard, Marisha Pickard, Cole Pickard, Eligh Buckner (Tara), Reese Pickard (Magan), Shawn Pickard (Brittney), Hannah Pickard (Jaco), Devin Pickard and Jaxxon Pickard. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
