With sadness, we share the passing of Donna Ray Satterfield (Starks, Louisiana). Donna, born on August 2, 1943, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas M. Satterfield; her daughter Joy Elizabeth; her parents, Cecil Calvin Ray and Martha Goff; and her sister Daphine Ray Salmons.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Poole (Steven); her grandchildren, Austin Moriarty (Cara) and Abigail Sartin (Brance); her great grandchildren, Lydia, Esme' and Wade; her siblings, Kathi Marks and Cal Ray, Jr. (Charlotte); and her close friends, Shelley Apala, Margo Thomas and Chris Wade.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calvary Apostolic Church (4270 LA-12, Starks, LA 70661). A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
