He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Stanley; his children, Ronnie Stanley and Charlotte Ship; his grandchildren, Jason Ronald Stanley and Meagan Stanley; his parents, Willie Stanley and Pearl Bass Stanley; and his siblings, Charlie Satnley, Shorty Stanley, Jasper Stanley, Martha Johnson and Gladys Perkins.
He is survived by: his sons, James Stanley, Keith Stanley (Jeanette) and Greg Stanley (Kristen); his grandchildren, Rhonda Ship, Candace Stanley, Misty Chester (Charles), Jessica Stanley, Blake Stanley, Cull Stanley (Melissa) and Cray Stanley; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Suchanek, Ethan Montrand, Bowan Beltcher, James Beltcher, Madeline Ship, Molly Gordon, Chayla Chester, Emma Chester, Wynn Chester, Cecile Stanley and Violet Stanley; and his sisters, Frankie Brandon and Karrie Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Pentecostal Church (225 LA-109, Starks, LA 70661). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM.
