He is survived by: his wife Virginia White; his children, Garland Ray White Jr. (Jennifer), John Curtis White (Tammy), Nicky James White and Carrie Sue Marcantel (Chad); his grandchildren, Khoury White, Courtney Pecar, Morgan Upchurch Perkins, Bailey Clark, Dawson White, Ireland White, Jessica Spears, Cassey Armstreet, Billy Stewart, Layken Malek, Colby Choate, Landry Jenkins, Jadelyn Allen, Falon Marcantel, Elizabeth Smith, Rebecca Wright and Halla Whitworth; and his siblings, Geneva Lee, Sheryl Kingrey and Rodger Dirk. He is also survived by 32 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church (225 LA-109, Starks, LA 70661). A burial was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the VFW Cemetery (5304 Gillis Rd, Starks, LA 70661).
