It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Dale Lewis of Start, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Bell Lewis; and his sister Vickie Jones. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lewis of Start, LA; his sons, Christopher Leyse of Hot Springs, AR, Shawn Leyse (Jenny) of Minden, LA and Cody Odom (Randyl) of Columbia, LA; his grandchildren, Dokata, La'Mya, Aamyia, Tucker and Ryleigh; his siblings, Robert Garrett, Linda Jane Garrett, Jackie Garrett, James Lewis and Dewayne Lewis; and his friend Andre'Borowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
