He is survived by: his wife Frances Goodson; his children, Meloney Martin (Gray), Tracy Shiers (Michael) and Samantha Allen (Jared); his grandchildren, Camryn Martin, Eli Shiers, Lena Allen, Claudia Allen and Lane Allen; his siblings, Charles Goodson (Liz) and Katherine Ticheli; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Scott Ross, Margie Ross, Lori Adams, Patsy Ross and Dianne Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Crew Lake Methodist Church (2830 Magnolia Dr, Rayville, LA 71269).
