With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Wade Temple of Start, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elijah Benjamin "Benny" Temple and Cynthia "Jenny" Russell Temple; and his siblings, JB Temple, Arnold Temple, Bill Temple, Joe L Temple, Baby Boy Temple, Joann Slade and Irma Temple.

He is survived by : his wife Bessie Townsend Temple; his sons, Greg Temple (Tammie) and Kenny Temple; his grandchildren, Chris Temple (Molly), Sarahann Torrey (DJ), Josh Temple (Haley) and Matt Temple (Dorri); and his siblings, Shirley Neal, Jimmy Temple, Houston Temple (Pat), Rose Streeter and Loretta Odom (Randy). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
