We are sad to announce that, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 75, Joe Lamar Hodge of Sterlington, Louisiana, born in Bastrop, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lon "Boots" Hodge and Ola Mae Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Gale Rankin Hodge; his children, Heather Chavez (Monte), Justin Hodge (Lauren) and Whitney Hodge (Brian); his grandchildren, Madison Stovall, Gabriela Chavez, Emersyn Hodge, Mia Jo Chavez, Briar Rose Mathis and Jett Hodge; and his siblings, Melda Brantley (Lanny), Kathy Matte (Bruce), Becky Hodge and Reta Womble (Buddy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paron Baptist Church in Sterlington, LA.
