It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Ann Parker of Sterlington, Louisiana, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Matilda Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Matilda Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall King and Muriel Dean Wallace Day; her stepparent Aubrey L. Day; and her brothers, Cliff Patton and James King.
She is survived by: her husband Jessie Parker; and her sisters, Connie Williams, Carla Russell and Bonnie Price. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; along with a host of extended family.
