He is survived by: his wife Denise Trahan; his stepchildren, Rachell (Robert Hoppaugh), Ray (Sarah Guillory) and David Sunday; his siblings, Tolton Johns (Jeri), Sissy (Shannon Burnett), Rhonda (Robert McHan), Sara Layton and Tina Thomas; and his stepmother Goldie Vincent. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
