With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alma Ruth Martin of Sulphur, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Michel Preston Martin Sr.; her son Mark Wayne; her grandsons, Samuel and Nathaniel; her parents, Harvey Slaydon and Marie Slaydon; her siblings, Jimmy, David Slaydon and Margaret Slaydon; and her daughter-in-law Betty Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Martin, Donnie Martin (Teresa), Lisa Martin (Connie) and Tara Reeves (Darrin); and her sister Jeanne Brown. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that Masses be offered in her honor.
