She was predeceased by: her husband Ethridge Joseph "E. J." Dronette; her mother H. A. Thompson, Sr.; her brother Monsignor Henry Thompson, Jr.; and her son-in-law John Arnold. She is survived by: her children, David Dronette (Connie) of Sulphur, Mary Arnold of Sulphur, John Dronette (Cindy) of Fort Worth, Lisa Amini (Sean) of Boston and Laura Campbell (Doug) of Spring Branch, Texas; and her brother Robert Thompson of Colfax. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (1109 Cypress St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her beloved childhood church restoration fund at St. Joseph's Church in Colfax, Louisiana.
