He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Gay Hunt (Ron) of Nancy, Kentucky and David "Nick" Haynes (Lisa) of Carlyss; his siblings, Sharon Laswell of Bronston, Kentucky and Terry Haynes (Ruth Ann) of Sloans Valley, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Nichole Lincoln of West Allis, WI, Cody Hunt of Singapore, Brandon Haynes (Courtney) of Moss Bluff, Hayden Haynes (Jordan) of Bridge City and Colin Haynes (Mariia) of Sulphur. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home (2051 E Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
