He was predeceased by : his parents, Linton Duet, Sr. and Louise Bruce Duet; and his brother Richard Duet. He is survived by : his daughter Ashleigh Duet Ewing (Chase); his grandchildren, Chase "Neener" Ewing, Maggie and Olivia Ewing; his siblings, Sandra Duet Plaisance (Gene) and Linton "L. J." Duet, Jr. (Carol); his sister-in-law Connie Duet-Berryman (Ricky); and his nieces and nephews, Dean Plaisance (Dawn), Jesse Plaisance (Alicia), Jay Duet (Nicole), Christopher Duet (Tiffany), Tina Duet, Jaime Duet (Daniel) and Megan Goings (Mead). He is also survived by 6 great-nieces, 6 great-nephews, 2 great-great-nieces and many friends.
