She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldo Rios Solis and Herminia Sanchez Solis; her husband Ernesto Trejo, Jr.; and her sisters, Maria Belia Garcia and Maria Ester Garcia.
She is survived by: her son Travis Trejo (Trish); her siblings, Maria Elisa Perez, Maria Fonseca and Jesus "Chuy" Solis (Petra); and her granddaughters, Ginni Miller (Shane) and Katy Simon (Josh). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holmgreen Mortuary (2061 E Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (801 S Reynolds St, Alice, TX 78332). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Rose Lawn Memorial Park (4030 E Hwy 44, Alice, TX 78332).
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Meals on Wheels or similar organization.
