It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna Gillard of Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Veillon and Mary Veillon; and her sister Jackie Frye. She is survived by: her son Wade Gillard (Emily); her grandchildren, Kate and Benjamin; and her siblings, JoAnn Guidry, Terry Veillon (Jackie), Sherline Veillon, Gerald Veillon (Deidre) and Angie Welsh (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur (107 W Napoleon St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
